For more than 10 years, Dr. Miranda has been a leadership coach, training program developer, and business performance consultant for diverse organizations. During that time, she completed an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership, writing her Dissertation about Leading Multi Generations. She has a keen interest, and deep expertise, in developing both established and emerging leaders to navigate the challenges and capitalize on the strengths of a diverse workforce that spans generations.
She coined two acronyms to illuminate the roots and the value of her work:
C.O.A.C.H.—Challenge, Organize, Aspire, Conquer, and Harvest
L.E.A.D.—Lift, Encourage, Advance, and Develop
On occasion, Dr. Miranda has been recruited to take on interim management roles to orchestrate a turnaround or implement a critical program. Organizations have also called on her consulting and leadership expertise to identify training needs, develop new curricula, and deliver training programs nationwide.
With strong academic credentials and a powerful, engaging presentation style, Dr. Miranda is sought after to deliver academic and conference programs on subjects related to leadership and the multi-generational workplace. Recent highlights include:
- Delivering a presentation on Working Across Generations for the Armed Forces Services Corporation.
- Presenting a session on Leadership Development to GUIDE—Global University in Distance Education.
- Training housing counselors nationwide for the Congressionally-chartered nonprofit NeighborWorks America.
- Earning top scores statewide for training services to a Florida Department of Community Affairs program.
Prior to beginning her work as an independent coach and consultant, Dr. Miranda held management roles in several financial services, real estate, and housing organizations in the Tampa area. Her hands-on experience managing budgets, hiring and training staff, and overseeing the operations of multifaceted organizations gives her insights into the challenges that all leaders face—and the credibility and knowledge to develop winning solutions.
Dr. Miranda maintains a strong network through membership in and service to professional associations and nonprofits, where she has held numerous leadership roles. She is a Delegate of the International Women’s Leadership Association. In addition, she is a member of the Phi Beta Delta National Society for International Scholars, Association for Talent (ATD, formerly ASTD), National Speaker’s Association, a lifetime member of the International Alumni Association and currently serves on the Loan program for Solita’s House Inc.
Dr. Miranda earned her Ed.D. from Argosy University, Tampa. Previously she completed an M.S. in Organizational Management and Leadership Development and a B.S. in Human Services, both from Springfield College in Tampa—where she is a long-time resident and active community member.
